In order to shop with Plast-Line A/S, you must be registered as a customer with us. This document helps you understand which personal data we collect about you, how we collect it, what we use it for, and what rights you have in relation to your personal data.

1. Personal data – what we collect and what we use it for.

 

1.1 Master data

When you are set up as a customer with us, we do so on the basis of the information we receive from you. We identify you on the basis of the following master data:

• Your e-mail address
• Your securely encrypted password
• This information is mandatory, which means that it is not possible to shop with us without it.

When you are created in our system, we store further information, such as name, VAT number, company name, telephone number, main e-mail address, delivery address, mobile number and the company's address. This information will only be available internally and will not be published in any way on the website.

 

1.2 Information in orders

When you make a purchase, your profile will be linked to the information we hold, and an order e-mail will be generated on the basis of the following information:

• Name
• Company
• Address
• Telephone
• E-mail

 

1.3 The contact form

We receive your name and e-mail address when you contact us via our web form.

 

1.4 Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies identify your computer or device rather than you as an individual user, and are used for various purposes.

1.5 Your IP address, browser settings and location

When you visit the website, we record your computer's IP address and browser settings. The IP address is the numerical address of the computer used to visit the website. We collect this information so that we can trace the computer used in the event of misuse or unlawful acts in connection with visits to or use of the website.

 

1.6 Newsletters and summary e-mails

We collect the information you give us when you are set up as a customer with us in order to send newsletters, summary e-mails and similar communications. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, summary e-mails or similar communications, you can unsubscribe by contacting us.

 

For what purposes do we use your personal data?

We use the information you give us in order to:

• Provide access to the website so that purchases can be made
• Identify you as a registered user when you log in to the website and visit the website again
• Verify the legitimacy of your purchases
• Improve the website and our services
• Answer your questions and provide related customer service
• Contact you in the event of errors in an order or purchase

1.8 On what legal basis do we process your personal data?

 

• To perform our contract with you in respect of purchase transactions
• To pursue our own legitimate business interests in connection with the operation of the website and the provision of our services to you
• For the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, where necessary

 

Where we have your express consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Please note, however, that we may be entitled to continue processing your data if this can be justified on one of the legal bases mentioned above.

You have the right to object to the way in which we process your personal data, or to ask us to restrict the processing.

2. Disclosure of personal data

 

2.1 Publication of personal data on the website

 

We are a B2B company and, as a result, your information is visible only to us and to you. Other users or parties have no access to your information. Nor is it possible to share your information with other users via the website.

 

2.2 Disclosure to other services, websites and companies

We do not disclose or sell your information to other companies under any circumstances. We do make use of web services, such as hosting of our website with an external partner. You can read more about this in section 5.

 

2.3 Other disclosures

 

In addition to the above, we may disclose your personal data to the following parties and in the following circumstances:

• To enable third-party suppliers, consultants and other service providers to perform services on our behalf
• To comply with laws or respond to claims and legal process, and to comply with requests from public and government authorities
• To cooperate with supervisory authorities and government authorities
• To third parties in connection with the enforcement of our terms of sale and delivery
• To third parties in order to protect our business activities
• To third parties in order to pursue available legal remedies, or to limit liability for damages that we may incur

3. Data controller

 

3.1 Information for which we are the data controller

We are the data controller for the master data you provide in connection with the creation and maintenance of your profile, which includes, but is not limited to, your name, your password and e-mail address, as well as the recording of your IP address.

We are also the data controller for the information disclosed to other services (see 2.3). Danish data protection legislation governs our collection of your data.

4. Data processors and transfer of personal data

 

We use external companies to maintain the technical operation of the website and our services. These companies are data processors for the personal data for which we are the data controller. By accepting this policy, you accept that we may also allow the data for which we are the data controller to be processed by these data processors.

We have entered into data processing agreements with the data processors, and it follows from these agreements that they must act solely in accordance with our instructions. By accepting this policy, you authorise us to give such instructions to the data processors to process data in accordance with this policy and for the purpose of using the website.

The data processors have taken reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or deterioration, and to protect the data against disclosure to unauthorised parties, misuse or other processing in breach of data protection laws.

5. Data retention

 

We retain the master data and other personal data you provide for as long as you are registered as a customer, or as necessary in order to provide our services to you. We delete this data at your request.

6. Security measures

 

We use reasonable organisational, technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data within our organisation, and we regularly audit our system for vulnerabilities. However, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of the information you send to us. E-mails sent via the website are not encrypted, and we therefore advise you not to include any confidential information in your e-mails to us.

We will give notice of any form of data breach or similar incident as quickly as possible and, in cooperation with our technical partners, ensure that the loss is minimised.

9. Rectification and deletion of your personal data

 

If the master data or other personal data we hold about you in our capacity as data controller is inaccurate or misleading, you can contact us to have your data rectified.

When you cease to be a customer, all of your data associated with your account is deleted from the website.

We reserve the right to block access to your account and/or to delete it. If we block access to or delete your account, we will inform you of the reason for the blocking or deletion of your account by sending an e-mail to the address you provided when you created your account.

10. Other rights

 

In addition to the rights set out above in relation to your personal data, you also have the following rights:

• You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to restrict the processing of your personal data.
• In particular, you have an unconditional right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes
• If our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent

In certain circumstances, these rights may be limited or conditional. For example, whether you have the right to data portability in a particular case depends on the specific circumstances of the processing activity.

11. Changes to this policy

 

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy. The date shown at the bottom of this policy indicates when it was last revised. If we make material changes to it, we will notify you via our website or by other means, so that you have the opportunity to review the changes before they take effect. If you object to our changes, you can close your account. Your continued use of our website after we have published or sent notice of the changes to the policy means that you accept the updated policy.
