COMET 700

The Leister COMET 700 automatic hot-wedge welding machine is designed for civil engineering, enabling the welding of PE, HDPE, and LDPE geomembranes. It features the Leister Quality System (LQS), Wi-Fi, and GPS for documenting welding parameters. Operating at speeds up to 8 m/min, it includes a digital display that shows mains voltage and alerts users if welding pressure is outside the set range.

The COMET 700 has an efficient heating wedge available in 60 mm and 90 mm lengths, with the latter ideal for geomembranes of 1.5 to 3.0 mm. It offers various hot wedges and accessories, including steel and silicone drive rollers, compatible with previous Leister models. Its high power reserves ensure quality welds even during undervoltage.

The intuitive digital display allows users to monitor parameters like speed and temperature, while well-positioned handles facilitate easy operation. The COMET 700 excels in overlap welds up to 125 mm. Leister also offers the COMET 500 for similar applications but with fewer features, catering to diverse civil engineering needs, including landfill sealing and water reservoir construction.
