PFS POLYCONTROL PLUS

The Polycontrol Plus from PFS is an electrofusion machine with a built-in scanner and Bluetooth, developed with a strong focus on functionality and user-friendliness. The latest generation of fusion control units is integrated directly into a robust and practical transport case, making the unit easy to carry, safely stored, and always ready for use. The machine supports welding of pipe dimensions from 0 to 1600 mm without limitation – Please look at the relevant data sheet below for details. If no barcode is available, the system allows the user to manually enter the welding parameters according to the fitting manufacturer’s specifications.

The machine is equipped with Plasson SmartFuse. One of the core features of the SmartFuse system is that the welding unit can automatically read a reference resistor built into Plasson’s fittings, accessed via one of the connector pins. This allows the welding unit to automatically identify the fitting and determine the correct fusion parameters, such as voltage and welding time.

This electrofusion unit is also equipped with a USB Bluetooth dongle, enabling wireless control and monitoring of the welding process via the PFS app, ElectroFusion Studio. The system is part of the ElectroFusion Control Center and is designed to support quality assurance throughout the entire electrofusion process. By following a predefined work profile, all relevant data is continuously collected, including job number, GPS location, photos of key process steps, and barcodes from system components in accordance with standards such as ISO 13950, ISO 12176-3/4, and ASTM F2897. Compatible electrofusion controllers can be operated and read via the Bluetooth connection, ensuring efficient and accurate documentation.

The ElectroFusion Control Center makes it possible to review, analyze, and organize the collected data centrally. It provides the company with a complete and structured record of welding activities, supporting high levels of quality assurance, traceability, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
