PLASSON ELECTRO FUSION FEMALE ADAPTOR
PLASSON Electrofusion Female Threaded Transition is a fitting that allows the connection of a PE pipe to a component with a male thread, such as a valve or a fitting made of metal or plastic.
The thread is made of brass, which is a particularly suitable material for threaded connections.
Brass offers high mechanical strength, good wear resistance, and is less prone to deformation compared to softer types of plastic. This ensures that the thread retains its shape and seal integrity, even under repeated use or when subjected to stress from connections with metal components.
NOTE – This fitting is not suitable for butt welding and is intended for use with electrofusion welding only.
