PLASSON F-VENTIL
The union nut must NOT be overtightened.
Never use wrenches or pliers with handles longer than 46 cm. Excessive torque during tightening can result in the union nut becoming conical, which can cause the pipe to slip out.
If Plasson compression fittings are reused, ensure that the split ring is sharp so that it can cut into the pipe. This helps to prevent the pipe from slipping out. Alternatively, fit a new split ring into the fitting.
The pull resistance of Plasson compression fittings, combined with the UPVC / PP grip ring has been approved by pressure testing on UPVC / PP pipe joints at 25 bar with an operating pressure of at least 1 hour.
Note: We strongly recommend the use of packing tape in threaded connections.
Check the documents to see which products are covered by the approvals.
