STEEL/PP BACKING RING, PN10/16

A PP-coated flange drilled according to ISO/DIN is a pipe flange made of steel or another supporting material and coated with polypropylene (PP) to achieve high chemical resistance and protection against corrosion. The durable PP coating makes the flange ideal for use in aggressive and demanding environments where resistance to corrosive substances is important – for example, in chemical plants, water treatment systems, and industrial process installations.

The flange is drilled according to ISO/DIN standards, meaning that the positioning, number, and dimensions of the bolt holes are defined according to the international specifications of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung). These standards ensure that the flange fits correctly with other components manufactured according to the same standards, making the installation and replacement of flanges easier and more reliable.

The flange is PN16 drilled, meaning it is designed to withstand a pressure of up to 16 bar, making it suitable for systems where high pressure resistance is required.

Flanges in sizes up to and including 160 mm are supplied with PN10/PN16 drilling, while flanges in sizes 180-630 mm are supplied with PN10 drilling. This pressure rating provides the flange with flexibility for various applications and pressure requirements in industrial systems.
